Among sacred monuments in Jastrzębie-Zdrój, the wooden church of Saint Barbara and Saint Joseph and the Sanctuary of Divine Providence are particularly noteworthy. The former, built in the 17th century, is seen as the most valuable monument in Jastrzębie- Zdrój. In the brick Sanctuary of Divine Providence on the other hand, there is a miraculous picture of Divine Providence, painted in 1773 on a triangular board, and many other monuments of sacred art from the 18th and 19th centuries.
