When Count Felix von Königsdorff founded the resort in the 19th century, it was the Spa Park that was planned as one of its central elements. Nowadays, you can relax here in what is probably the most beautiful brine inhalatorium in Poland, or drink aromatic coffee in the former pump room. The park owes its unique atmosphere to the monuments of the former spa – among others, Łazienki II, which is now home to the City History Gallery, the building of the Spa House, and Masnówka, which currently houses a branch of the City Public Library, as well as a café located on a viewing terrace.
